My first experience with videography came in my role as a music teacher. I bought my first “real” camera to document my student’s concerts for them. Shortly after this, my friend asked me to take some pictures for his social media. Although I was hesitant at first, he talked me into it.
A question I often get asked is why wedding videography is important, to which I usually respond by telling the story of my own wedding. Initially I didn’t want to get a videographer. We were already hiring a photographer, so why would we also need a videographer.
In the end, I came round on the idea, and I’m so glad I did! Your wedding day is so fleeting and over so quickly, you want to hang on to anything that helps you relive that moment and reinforce that memory.
